Guardians acquire RHP Matt Festa
The Cleveland Guardians announced today the acquisition of RHP Matt Festa from the Texas Rangers for cash considerations. He has been assigned to AAA Columbus. He is not currently a member of the club’s 40-man roster.
The OHSAA girls and boys state basketball tournaments will be returning to a familiar format beginning next year.
The semifinals and finals of the tournaments will be held within a three- or four-day period, with all finals remaining at the University of Dayton Arena and all semifinals at the arena or other sites in the Dayton Area. The OHSAA approved the modified basketball dates for the 2025-26 and 2026-27 seasons at its regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday and announced the changes in an administrator update released on Tuesday.
