Meister’s arrival comes during a busy offseason of administrative shuffling for the Cardinals. He steps into the roles previously held by Beau Balderson, who was recently promoted to become the new Sandy Valley High School Principal for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year.
A Wealth of Local Leadership Experience
Meister arrives in Magnolia boasting an impressive 25-year background in education, coaching, and school leadership. Over his two-and-a-half decades in Ohio high school sports and academics, Meister has filled nearly every crucial role in a district, serving as a teacher, varsity coach, athletic administrator, and principal.
According to a community statement released by the
Sandy Valley Local School District Facebook Page, Meister has built his career on forming positive student relationships and helping athletes maximize their potential both in the classroom and on the field.
