Perry High School has a new Head Football Coach. Assistant coach, Zach Slates, who played his high school football at Perry, was approved by the Perry Board of Education. Slates has been on Perry’s staff since the 2010 season. Zach is a Stark County High School Hall of Famer, who brings a ton of playing and coaching experience to the table as he will be replacing Stark County Coaching legend, Keith Wakefield, who retired earlier this year.
