Boston College names Ohio State assistant Jeff Hafley new coach

Ohio State co-defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley will be Boston College's next coach, the school announced Saturday.

In a statement, BC athletic director Martin Jarmond said Hafley was "someone we targeted from the outset."

Ohio State’s Chase Young wins Nagurski Award

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Ohio State defensive end Chase Young won the Bronko Nagurski Award given to the nation's top college defensive player on Monday night.

Young was the nation's most dominant player on defense this season, recording 16.5 sacks and forcing six fumbles in 10 games for the Buckeyes. His best game came against then-No. 13 Wisconsin, as he had four sacks and two forced fumbles in a 38-7 victory.
