Cleveland TE David Njoku asks Browns for trade, agent says

Tight end David Njoku has asked the Cleveland Browns to trade him before training camp, his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Friday.

The Browns told Njoku, 23, that they would like to keep him, but Rosenhaus told the team he's intent on a trade.‬

OHSAA addresses possibility of spring football

The 2020 high school football regular season is slated to kick off in eight weeks.

Between now and then, key decisions will need to be made by the Ohio High School Athletic Association on whether or not any fall sports will be played this year.

Report: NFL shortens preseason, Browns will play 2 games

The NFL has shortened its 2020 preseason to two games, according to ESPN.

ESPN said the league is eliminating weeks one and four of the preseason, meaning the Cleveland Browns would no longer play the Buccaneers or the Bears, but they will still play the Packers and Vikings.

Bobby Sagers Jr. would like answers about officiating high school sports during the COVID-19 pandemic this school year.

"My big thing is obviously the social distancing, handling the ball -- football and/or basketball and then obviously the whistle to your mouth -- talking about can you wear a mask and referee?" Sagers said. "I don't know. We're in no man's land. Will a coach have a mask on the sidelines?"
