Head coach Rob Senderoff and the Kent State Golden Flashes have made a major splash in the transfer portal, securing a commitment from 6-foot-8 forward Cameron Williams.
Williams, a standout junior from the University of Portland, announced his decision to move to the Mid-American Conference (MAC) on April 20, 2026. The move marks a significant homecoming-of-sorts for the Flashes’ staff, who got an up-close look at Williams’ talent this past December when he dropped 20 points against them in a non-conference matchup.
