A new era of John Carroll University football has officially arrived, and the Blue Streaks will be hitting the gridiron in style this fall.
In partnership with BSN SPORTS, JCU Athletics has officially unveiled its highly anticipated football uniforms, marking the program’s formal transition to the global brand adidas. The fresh look brings a modern, high-performance edge to one of Division III’s most historic programs while respecting the deep traditions of the Blue Streaks.
Classic Tradition Meets Modern Performance
The new uniform set represents a clean break from the previous Under Armour era, offering a sleek, crisp aesthetic that keeps the classic blue and gold front and center.
Fans can look forward to several key updates on Saturdays:
- The Look: A crisp, classic design paying homage to generations of JCU football excellence.
- The Tech: Engineered with lightweight, highly flexible adidas fabric built for maximum player speed and mobility.
- The Branding: The iconic adidas three-stripes and logo now proudly anchor the jersey design.
A Season of Firsts
The visual transformation comes at a time of massive change and high expectations in University Heights.
The Blue Streaks will debut the uniforms under the leadership of newly appointed head coach and alumnus Brian Polian ’97. Polian takes over a program that is also navigating its high-profile transition into the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC).
Fans won’t have to wait long to see the new threads in action. The Blue Streaks will officially wear the new uniform set for the first time on September 5, 2026, when they travel to face Carnegie Mellon University in a highly anticipated season opener.
