The Cleveland Browns are moving on from 2023 NFL free agency addition defensive tackle Dalvin Tomlinson.

The Browns have notified veteran defensive tackle Tomlinson that he will be released, a move designed to create cap space. By designating the release as a Post-June 1 cut, the Browns save $6,455,882 in 2025, while incurring dead cap hits of $5,042,000 in 2025 and $12,109,000 in 2026 per Spotrac. This comes on the first day of the free agency legal tampering window.

The Browns are adding a veteran offensive tackle thanks to a late-night deal. Cornelius Lucas has agreed to a two-year deal worth up to $10 million, his agent Dan Saffron confirmed to the Beacon Journal.
