The University of Mount Union has announced the hiring of Emily Taylor as the new head women’s basketball coach.
“I am incredibly honored and grateful for the opportunity to lead the women’s basketball program at the University of Mount Union,” Taylor said. “Mount Union has a proud tradition of excellence, built by Coach Venet, players, alumni, and supporters who have shaped the legacy of this program over the years. I have tremendous respect for that foundation and look forward to building upon it while developing young women who excel both on and off the court. I’d like to thank Director of Athletics Mike Parnell, President Greg King, and Vice President Pat Huddleston for their trust and support. I am excited to be part of the Mount Union family.”
