One of the most decorated players in Louisville High School basketball history is on the move again, bringing his talents to the Sunshine State.
Will Aljancic, the former Leopard star who rewritten the record books in Stark County, officially announced his transfer to Flagler College this week. The move marks the next chapter in a collegiate journey that has seen the 6’6″ wing excel at multiple levels of the game.
Aljancic heads to the St. Augustine, Florida-based program after a stint at the Division I level with Holy Cross. During the 2025-26 season with the Crusaders, Aljancic appeared in 27 games, providing a spark off the bench while averaging 3.1 points and nearly two rebounds per contest.
Before jumping to DI, Aljancic was a force in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) at the University of Findlay. During his sophomore campaign with the Oilers, he earned First Team All-G-MAC honors, leading the team in both scoring (13.7 ppg) and rebounding (5.3 rpg).
Leopard fans remember Aljancic as a “once-in-a-generation” talent at Louisville High School. A three-time All-Ohio selection and former Stark County Player of the Year, he left the program holding 14 school records, including the marks for career points and single-game scoring.
At Flagler, Aljancic joins a Saints program that competes in the highly competitive Peach Belt Conference. With his ability to play multiple positions and his “drive-first” mentality, the Louisville native is expected to be an immediate impact player in his final years of eligibility.
