St. Thomas Aquinas High School announced today that it is beginning the search for an energetic, mission-driven Head Football Coach to lead the Knights into a new era of growth and competitiveness.
The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, a passion for developing student-athletes, and a commitment to fostering excellence on and off the field. St. Thomas Aquinas seeks a coach who embodies the school’s Catholic values, inspires school spirit, and builds a program rooted in character, discipline, and teamwork.
As part of this transition, Knight Nation extends its appreciation to Coach Kevin Henderson, who joined Aquinas in 2023 and served as head coach during the program’s recent seasons. As he steps down, the school thanks Coach Henderson for his service to Aquinas student-athletes and for challenging our players to be better students and better athletes.
President Joseph French expressed: “We are grateful for Coach Henderson’s leadership and dedication to our student-athletes as he steps down from the head football coaching role. We thank him for all he has given to our school.”
The search for the next Head Football Coach begins immediately. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply by submitting a cover letter, resume, and references to Nick Stanek, Athletic Director, at nstanek@youngstowndiocese.org or 2121 Reno Dr., Louisville, OH 44641.
As always, Go Knights!
