Cleveland Browns cornerback Denzel Ward has joined the Cleveland Guardians’ ownership group, the team confirmed Wednesday.
Ward, a five-time Pro Bowl cornerback and Cleveland’s Own, joins Cleveland Heights’ native and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce as a recently announced minority investor in the Guardians.

Ward has spent his entire football career in Northeast Ohio and his entire NFL career with the Browns since he was selected in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
Kelce, a three-time Super Bowl champion, and husband to Taylor Swift, joined the Guardians’ ownership group in May.
